The Vintage Kitchen: Retro and Recipes You Tube Channel

This weekend many of us will be spending time in the kitchen getting ready for Thanksgiving.

So in that spirit I trolled around the internet looking for a food-related vintage video.

I came across this fun channel on You Tube.
It’s called The Vintage Kitchen and it this week’s My Vintage Video.

The channel is devoted to vintage and retro recipes from 1800-1979.
Here’s a 1920s recipe for parsnip pudding.

You can check out many more vintage tips and recipes at The Vintage Kitchen..

The next day drain the descaler from the boiling chamber
of your water distiller and rinse with 4 liters of water.
This episode introduces three people who are embracing creative
solutions to the looming shortage of drinking water –
be it desalinating the ocean, catching rainwater or cleaning up our rivers.

Especially when used in times of a disaster, such as
the flooding going on currently in Pakistan, solar water distillation ought to be used to give people some
    access to clean water.
