I’ve never been able to crack the code, but my mom claims she has.
However, I’ve never seen one in her hands.

Anyway, her curious comment made me seek out this week’s My Vintage Video.
It’s a commercial from 1981.

    I’ve never been able to solve a Rubik’s Cube; I think three sides might’ve been my best. Seeing world-record Cube solvers make me feel stupid: 12 seconds?! Impossible…

    The world record is 6.24 sec by a young australian.
