This weekend I went to Antiques on the Green in Amherst, New Hampshire.
It’s an annual event sponsored by the Historical Society of Amherst.
For an entrance fee of five dollars, you could bring an item and have it appraised.
Jason Hackler, owner and manager of New Hampshire Antique Co-op in Milford, NH, looked at our items.
Dianne brought a vintage baseball.
I thought it might be a pre-1930s ball, but Hackler thought it was from around the 1950s.
Estimated Value: $15 to $50
I brought this 1898 German tobacco pipe.
A relative brought it home from Germany after World War Two.
Estimated Value: $135 to $150
