We can assume Charles Foster Kane, the fictitious character in Citizen Kane was a collector! The 1941 film opens with a snow globe falling out of his hands as Kane mutters the word, “Rosebud.”

Corbin Bernsen, the real-life movie actor, is an avid collector of snow globes.
