Smurf

My sister’s birthday is this week.
So, in her honor I’d like to wish her a Smurfy Birthday!

Jill was a big fan of The Smurfs cartoon.
It was produced by Hanna-Barbera and ran on the NBC television network from 1981 to 1990.

Smurf memorabilia from this era is collectible.
It will certainly go up in value as my sister’s generation gets older.

And here’s something to keep in mind!
A Smurf movie is in the works.
It’s scheduled for release in July 2011.
So, if you’re thinking of selling any Smurf items, it may be worth waiting until next year.
Wait for the movie to generate Smurf buzz.
