These illustrations are from a brochure titled Pullman: On Dress Parade.
It was printed in 1948 and highlights “new and improved Pullman accommodations.”
For the first half of the 20th century, a Pullman train was a comfortable and convienent way to travel.

This brochure was probably published and handed out at the 1948 Chicago Railroad Fair. I have several brochure and booklets from different railroads and industry=supported companies. So it doesn’t suprise me to see Pullman! The scans look great. Thanks for sharing these with us.
Thanks for sharing John!
I wonder if ’48 Railroad Fair would be equivalent to a convention or trade show in today’s terms.
In any event the Fair sounds like fun.
Thanks again.
