Ah, the Shamrock Shake!
That green, cold, minty drink only available this time of year.

McDonald’s introduced this speciality drink in 1970.
Uncle O’Grimacey was its mascot, but by the 1980s he no longer appeared.

These days you’re lucky if you can find a Shamrock Shake at your local McDonald’s.
They’re not available everywhere.
Diehard fans search high and low for the elusive Shamrock Shake.
If you’re lucky, then you may find one at the end of the golden arches in your neighborhood.

I LOVE Shamrock Shakes but never can seem to find them, or forget about them until it’s too late. Instead, I usually make them myself with mint ice cream or vanilla ice cream and peppermint extract (plus green food coloring b/c I must have them green!). I love that tee shirt too.

I love ‘em, too, but always forget to get one until it’s too late. (I should go out today…) During the summer I enjoy mint chocolate chip frappes, the next best thing.
